This is not a real place.

OK, it’s kind of a real place, but it’s not the place it appears to be.  What I mean to say is, this is a fake room - the stuff in it is real, but it’s the police station in the TV show I work on: LIFE.  Thursday was the last day of shooting for our 2nd season, and on Friday (my last day) I went to visit this and another of our sets and took some photos with the available light (which was very little).  On Thursday, I was visiting the other stage where we have approximately 1/3 of a mansion I had not yet fully explored.  I went up to the partial 2nd floor and marveled at how it’s all so real until it’s fake.  There’s also a kitchen with real granite countertops, real appliances, real furniture and fake everything else.  One of the producers disagreed with me when I stated everything was real, until it’s fake.  He told me “no, it’s all fake.”  My response was “but the kitchen is mostly real, it’s just displaced!” He told me I couldn’t make a lasagna in there, I told him I could if the gas was hooked up.  He remained unconvinced - but I make a helluva lasagna.  (kitchen not pictured; it was blurry)
