Believe it or not, I’m walking on aaaaaiiiiir!
No, just kidding, what I mean to say is, believe it or not, this little friend wants to be a strawberry. Yep, this is a strawberry plant and that little flower wants nothing more than to grow up to be a big tasty strawberry! Once in a while, Target has little pots with seeds for $1 in it’s genius $1 section (at the front of the store - ya can’t miss it. want some crappy melamine dishware? look no further!) and when I fail my willpower exercise against buying crap I don’t need, I buy them. So far, I’ve bought parsley (fail), lavender (on it’s way to fail) and strawberry (giving it a try!) (I also bought morning glory for my mom, but I don’t know if she tried ‘em). I’m pretty good at growing stuff - in the summer, I grew some tomatoes from 1/2 a tomato that decided to sprout in my fridge (don’t judge me) and they were delicious. Just ask my friend Dan. Anyway, I’m worried that beautiful green shiny leaves and healthy looking bloom aside, this plant will fail and I will never get the chance to taste a home-grown strawberry. I know I can just go buy some at the store, but that’s not quite the same. Maybe I need more Miracle-Gro.
